Motivation is the drive to achieve something in life that satisfies ones needs. There are two primary types of motivation namely, intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation. There are many methods of motivating learners which can either be categorized into extrinsic or intrinsic types of motivation.Intrinsic motivation is the motivation that is animated by personal enjoyment, interest, or pleasure. It is driven by an interest in the task itself and exists within the individual. In the above-mentioned situation, the teacher should try to encourage curiosity in children and promote learning for its own sake as intrinsic motivation refers to the behavior which focuses on personal satisfaction and internal rewards.Intrinsic motivation is the internal condition or factor of learning.
