Learning disabilities are diagnosed particularly when children start going to school and are engaged in academic activities with other children in the school. It may be caused due to premature birth, low birth weight, and malnutrition.The differently-abled children feel difficulty in performing the basic processes required in understanding or using language, spoken or written. It may be seen as the imperfect ability to listen, think, speak, read, write, spell, or do mathematical calculations.D ]yslexia: Dyslexia is a condition in which a child/student faces persistent challenges in reading the text and comprehending the long passages because of frequently omitting substitutes or reversing the letters and words while reading.When they face difficulty in reading, they can not spell the words properly and are unable to write them accurately as well.Students having dyslexia get confused between similar words, sounds of alphabets, and the same shapes of letters.Also, they will have problems in interpreting and understanding the letters and words. For example, the students can get confused between "69" and "96", and also they may read "saw" as "was".Hence, it could be concluded that Dyslexia is associated primarily with difficulties in reading and writing.
