Learning is a process by which behavior is either modified or changed through experience or training. There are many factors that influence learning.Learning is influenced by: Psychological factors:Psychological aspects are the elements of one's personality that limit or enhance the ways that one learns and thinks.Several psychological factors such as intelligence, personality, attitude, interest, and aptitude have considerable influence on the learning of a child. Socio-Cultural factors:Socio-cultural factors refer to the combination of social and cultural factors. These factors play a vital role in shaping the abilities and behaviors of a child.The immediate environmental structure of social culture is where an individual has direct interaction with their significant others such as parents, siblings, teachers, and peers.School-related factors:Overcrowding classrooms is another contributing factor. In some big cities, houses are converted into English medium schools. In small rooms, sixty to seventy children are made to sit and are unable to benefit from highly verbal instruction.The condition of the setting where the learning process takes place can also enhance or interfere with the intake of information.Teacher-related factors:Learning problems may occur because of inadequate or inappropriate teaching. The child may have difficulty in learning because the teacher does not provide adequate or appropriate instruction.
