These materials are known as "TLM" or "teaching-learning materials".Teaching-learning materials provide a range of learning experiences to learners from direct to indirect. TLM generally includes all the collections of things and objects which help the teacher and student in the learning process.In the context of language learning, authentic materials are related to real-life situations. It connects classroom learning with student's daily life and promotes creative language learning.Using a hotel menu card is an authentic material for language pedagogy as it relates more closely to learners' needs and provides them with a source of relevant materials for learning.Therefore, it is concluded that the menu card used by the teacher in the language task, is an authentic material for language pedagogy.
