Second language learning is a conscious process where the learning of another language other than the First Language takes place. To learn a second language, one not only needs the knowledge of the language, but the learner also needs constant exposure and practice of the language. Structure refers to the pattern of sentences that children need to learn to master the fundamental skills of language learning. Structures in the second language are better assimilated in a pedagogical practice through meaningful interaction with interesting contentMeaningful interaction involves learners in real communication. On the other hand, interesting content stimulates their brains.It promotes a deeper understanding of concepts and increases the rate of language learning as learners gain knowledge by experiencing it.Hence, we conclude that in the pedagogical practice of the second language, structures are better assimilated through meaningful interaction with interesting content.
