Teaching language skills are necessary for effective communication in any environment and to interact with others. It allows an individual to comprehend and produce spoken language for proper and effective interpersonal communication.The four basic language skills are listening-speaking-reading-writing. In order to provide more focused and significant learning situations, teachers must integrate the four language skills while teaching and practising the language.Writing Skill: Writing is the fourth language expertise we may gain in our learning. Writing abilities might be improved by giving activities on a piece and exploratory writing.The conventional principles of learning emphasize that language learning starts with teaching of noticing and reading and teaching reading and writing are distinct from teaching speech. Writing involves the formation of words, letters, and alphabets that are graphical in themselves and one requires some specific skills to form them well. Teaching of graphic symbols with the language units they represent, are separate task.The writing is to put down the signs and symbols on paper to represent the sounds that we speak. It is a process of using symbols (letters of the alphabet, punctuation, and spaces) to communicate thoughts in a readable form. Hence, it can be concluded that language should be taught to the students with the help of a sound system, should not be understood by the principle of writing as a representation of speech as writing is a graphical representation of speech.
