The NCF (National curriculum framework) 2005 is published by NCERT (National council of educational research and training) which explains the changes and new ways by which teaching and learning can be enhanced. NCF(2005) focused to connect the curriculum with the daily life experiences of the children.NCF(2005) opposes rote or memory-based learning.According to NCF(2005), experiences or activities should be based on hands-on activities.NCF(2005) supports burden-free learning which is proposed by Dr. Yashpal in 1993.The thinking should be divergent to approach the problems of mathematics that's why a student can find different ideas to solve the problems.So According to National Curriculum Framework 2005, School Mathematics must take place in a situation, where students realize Mathematics as a part of their life experiences.
