Solution:

Problem-solving is the act of defining a problem; determining the cause of the problem; identifying, prioritizing, and selecting alternatives for a solution; and implementing a solution. There are many different types of methods to solve the problem, a student can use the suitable method after analyzing the problem. -The use of different problem-solving methods leads the student to think divergently and provide another approach to solve the problem. The main procedure to solve the problem are - Algorithm: An algorithm refers to a set of rules that "step-by-step" define how a work is to be executed in order to get the "expected results". It can be understood by taking the example of cooking a new recipe.Heuristic: œHeuristic method has been given by "Armstrong". This method refers to finding the best possible solution to a problem quickly, effectively, and efficiently. The heuristic technique is a way of solving the problem that uses a process that isnt guaranteed to be optimal or perfect but is sufficient to achieve a short-term goal or immediate result. Analogy: Problem-solving can be done by referring back to previous successful experiences with similar problems. In this method, we solve keeping in mind solutions to problems similar to the problem at hand.Means-end analysis: In this process dividing a problem into sub-goals and then solving each sub-goal. Means-end heuristics is a problem-solving technique that was introduced by "Newell and Simon". The means-end analysis is a creative problem-solving technique used in Artificial Intelligence applications for a quite long time.Hence, we can conclude that the right answer to this question is (A) - (ii), (B) - (iv), (C) - (i), (D) - (iii).
