For beginning or early readers, loud reading is the most important activity. It also helps in recognizing different sounds and different movements of the mouth as the teacher does a model reading.Loud reading means to read as it is audible to others. It lays the foundation for speaking with confidence at a later stage. Engaging the students in loud reading improves their pronunciation and also makes them attentive and focused.It is useful in attaining a lower level of learning during the primary years of schooling when we are trying to learn a new language.
