Occupational stereotypes- It refers to a "preconceived notion" about a specific occupation, the person who works in that occupation, or one fit for that occupation.Gender sensitization- It is a process of improving awareness of gender equality issues. It assists people in analyzing the facts of both sexes and examining their attitudes and ideas.Teachers facilitate the development of knowledge, skills, attitudes, and value for a healthy and fruitful society. This requires gender sensitivity.Street plays- The main purpose of Street play is to spread a social message to a big audience. This contributes to the creation of a sense of awareness in society. Every street play has a distinct public social message and the actor performing the play should be able to demonstrate and convey the theme effectively.Hence, we conclude that the most effective way to sensitize the students of EVS to the issue of stereotypes in occupation is street plays.
