Teaching methods- The ideas and procedures employed by teachers to enable students' learning are referred to as teaching methods. These techniques are influenced by the subject matter to be taught as well as the learner's personality.Debate- It is a formal discussion on a particular matter.In today's educational system classroom debate is important for engaging children and bringing life to the classroom. Debates in the classroom can assist students to develop critical thinking and improve their speaking abilities.Students learn to make well-reasoned and well-thought-out arguments in a class debate. Debates in a classroom allow students to compare their ideas and opinions to those of their peers. Students who frequently participate in debates engage in information analysis and depth investigation.Hence we conclude that an effective way to sensitize the students of 4th grade regarding poaching during a class is debate.Whereas other methods like showing newspaper clippings, poster presentation, and slogan writing are not effective because they do not allow students to develop critical thinking.
