Solution:

The correct order is Champaran Satyagrah, Ahmedabad Mill Movement, Kheda Satyagrah, Non-Cooperation Movement. Champaran Satyagrah(1917)It was the first active involvement of Gandhi in the Indian Freedom Struggle. The British forced the farmers to grow indigo and other cash crops on their fertile land and then sell these crops to them at a much cheaper rate. This situation became more gruesome for the farmers due to harsh weather conditions and the levy of heavy taxes pushing them towards poverty. Persuaded by Rajkumar Shukla an indigo cultivator, Gandhi went to Champaran in Bihar to investigate the conditions of the farmers there. He adopted the approach of the civil disobedience movement and launched demonstrations and strikes. Ahmedabad Mill Movement( 1918)Gandhiji used Satyagrah and hunger strike for the first time during an industrial conflict between the owners and workers of a cotton mill in Ahmedabad. The owners wanted to withdraw the plague bonus to the workers while the workers were demanding a hike of 35% in their wages. During the peaceful strike led by Gandhi, he underwent a hunger strike. This movement was successful and the workers were given the wage hike they wanted. Kheda Satyagrah( 1918)This movement was the consequence of the financial atrocities afflicted by the British on the farmers of the Kheda village in Gujarat. The village was massively affected by the floods and famine in 1918 which resulted in the destruction of the crop yields. Under the leadership of Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the farmers launched this movement against the government and pledged for the non-payment of taxes. After five months of persistent struggle, the British government let go of the payment of taxes by the farmers until the famine got over and also returned the seized properties of the farmers. Non-Cooperation Movement(1920)Jallianwala Bagh Massacre was the reason behind the commencement of the Non-Cooperation Movement in 1920. It was launched on 4 September 1920 by Mahatma Gandhi with the aim of self-governance and obtaining full independence ( Purna Swaraj). The movement was a peaceful and non-violent protest against the British Government in India. This movement was ended by Gandhi himself after it led to the Chauri Chaura incident in which 23 police officers were killed. Additional InformationMahatma GandhiHe was known as the Father of the Nation and commonly called Bapu. His birthday on 2 October is commemorated in India as Gandhi Jayanti, a national holiday. He was a prolific writer. One of Gandhi's publications Hind Swaraj was published in Gujrati in 1909. He was the leader of various movements (Satyagraha, Champaran Movement, Kheda Movement, Quit India Movement). 9th January we celebrate as a Pravasi Bharatiya Divas or NRI Day because Gandhiji returned to India on this Day from South Africa in 1915. He became the president of Congress during its Belgaum session, 1924.
